stainless steel
hearts cup process
PROJECT
This was one of the many approved cups for Starbuck's seasonal events. The original cup created and supplied by TMS industrial team.
Created realistic renders in Photoshop with RNA/LAC design manager to present design visual concepts of the drinkware to the client for approval. This is a 24oz cold stainless steel cup design showcasing final finishes and artwork layout for the drinkware. All graphics created and supplied by TMS illustration team then layout designed by me.
I had to ensure a seamless transition from each end of the dieline to make the artwork a wrapped pattern around the cup. This included making sure the hearts are angled correctly on the curved dieline to appear straight on the drinkware and following Starbuck's branding guideline.

PRODUCTION FILE CREATION
Design manager gives me feedback on the direction of the render or artwork layout until it is approved. Once it's approved, I created the production file that will be sent to factory for creation. I make sure to include the latest artwork rendition in the dieline, note the pantone colors used, include white underprint, the stock it will be printed on, and include any other techniques used. In this case there was too many colors so it will be printed in CMYK with 2 pantone colors that are light colors and used often in the artwork, the rest of the colors will be color matched to their respective pantone color.
